The Bowman Prints

Unlocking your treasures within using botanical prints, natural dyes, natural handmade products, apparel construction, hand printing, and equine sciences education for students. My products and classes are used by Creator God to open potential, expression, excellence, confidence, and passion from within each client's personal design. I am an independent artist and also use my business to contribute to Restoration House Ministries in Victoria, TX, where the treasures within troubled young women are also unlocked. 

I use mostly wild Texas plant matter for the botanical prints and natural dyes. I take only as much as needed and leave the rest. No plant populations are endangered by my harvesting. I want my textiles printed and dyed with Texas wild plants but also use the occaisional garden plant or dye plants I have planted myself. I believe God loves the land, plants, and animals as well as the people, and my textiles are a special item to have which carry the essence of the wild Texas plants whose treasures have been unlocked by the intense process they go through to become a part of the textile.

My sewing is something I've always done for myself and my family. I want to make clothes that are comfortable, complimentary of our bodies, and a joy to wear.  I am growing my collection of professional patterns and also use some of my own and some vintage store-bought. I use mostly linens, cottons, silks, and some knits. I sew just about anything except formals.

My equine curriculum is showcased on it's own website (access below) and is written and illustrated with youth in mind who hunger for knowledge of the horse. It is based on the body systems and it is geared toward 5th - 12th grade students. Those considering large animal Veterinary school will find it helpful for a first study of equine anatomy, physiology, and stewardship.
